Experienced Travel Consultants


A travel agent’s role is a customer-focused position offering a fully comprehensive travel service to the public for their holiday and travel requirements. The ability to build strong relationships with clients to develop confidence and trust to maintain a long-term working relationship is imperative. Your dedicated customer role is vital and seen as essential in achieving company objectives ensuring Beverley Travel exceeds customer expectations.

We will also consider training the right person if the experience isn’t quite there. Knowledge can be trained. Attitude and drive can’t – and that’ what we’re looking for!

Your duties will include:


  • Completing CRM to record Leads/Enquiries/Bookings
  • Arranging flights, insurance, accommodation, and any holiday extras
  • Use experience to offer advice and recommendations to clients on various destinations
  • Using a booking system to secure holidays or liaise with tour operators for more tailor-made arrangements
  • Advising clients on travel arrangements and pre departure rules, e.g. visas and passports
  • General booking related admin such as collecting and processing payments and tickets to clients in a timely manner, dealing with changes and dealing with complaints or refunds
  • Meeting sales/profit targets
  • Preparing and maintaining offers for window/website/Facebook (x20 offers per month)
  • Concise communication with customers so they understand fully (jargon-free and easy to understand)

Travel Consultant Apprentice

Do you have a passion for travel and customer service?

We are now actively recruiting a customer service/ travel consultant Apprentice that will join us as part of our growing team.


This is a customer facing role and will involve greeting clients, supporting the sales process and general day to day tasks, taking detailed holiday briefs, researching holiday destinations and making recommendations to customers, working with the marketing team to develop new offers for social media platforms, taking bookings and loading onto internal systems.


We are searching for a driven and enthusiastic team player who is confident using technology, ideally including Microsoft Office, Social Media and CRM systems with a flexible approach to all aspects of work.

A strong interest in travel is a must!


This position is full time Store/ Office based in either Beverley, Hedon or one of our new upcoming stores.

Full training provided, as well as a fully funded Apprenticeship, Level 2 or 3 dependent on experience.
