Senior Travel Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant (Minimum 3 years’ experience) to manage and build a portfolio of regular clients.

Support the achievement of the Company’s annual and longer term objectives, building our reputation for outstanding customer service and professionalism.


Outcomes to achieve and general approach:

  • Commission targets: Generate own leads/ enquiries, input to the company Marketing plan and activity, including events, diligent follow up, repeat business and referral generation.
  • Maximise Customer satisfaction ratings: Building strong relationships with clients, following through beyond the booking to return home, keeping info in systems up to date, striving to go beyond expectations and responding to feedback positively, identifying and implementing learnings.
  • Maintain standards: Adherence to ABTA/ ATOL/ PTR rules, Privacy and Fraud prevention & Money Laundering.


Maintain required knowledge of:

  • Statutory requirements applicable
  • Latest travel rules & regulations, UK & destination
  • Market, supplier and competitors
  • Internal systems & procedures, including identifying and implementing improvements
  • GDPR & Privacy rules and policies


Research & training should be sought on the above and specifically the following:

  • ATAS training
  • CLIA training
  • Key Marketing Partner and other supplier training
  • Destination information, including trends on popular places and things to do for target clients
  • Ability to use appropriate systems, technology and methods.
